In the winter of 2012-2013, a 4-compartment fertilizer tender was built to deliver seed and fertilizer to the seeder and planter. Each compartment holds roughly 5 tonnes. The body is made almost entirely out of stainless steel. A 10" auger running underneath the hopper unloads out the back of the trailer, top loading into the air cart tank. The auger has a 120 degree swing, hydraulic adjust height, and hydraulic fold extension.  A 1000-gallon tank for liquid fertilizer and an area for seed skids means that all the products required for all seeding operations can be brought out in one trip. The tender box is also mounted on load cells so we can accurately measure the amount of products used. The tender is mounted on a tri-axle air ride trailer.
